Vulnerability and Food Security in the Kyrgyz Republic

This report presents the findings of the Food Security and Essential Needs Assessment survey conducted in the Kyrgyz Republic. The findings are intended to inform social targeting, policy planning and Âé¶¹´«Ã½¡¯s programme design, along with an aim to contribute to strengthening national systems for food security monitoring and resilience building.

The assessment examines household food security, vulnerability, resilience, multidimensional deprivation, nutrition-related outcomes, coping strategies and exposure to shocks. The report explores the factors associated with vulnerability across demographic, economic, educational and geographic dimensions, providing an overview of household well-being and essential needs.
